Why We Love This Watch

In 1948, Omega celebrated its one-hundredth anniversary with the Centenary, Omega's first automatic chronometer certified watch. Omega was truly surprised by the success of the watch that they had to make a new model compensate for the demand. And thus, the Constellation was born in 1952. The Omega Constellation was the pinnacle of Omega watches as all were chronometer certified. As an ode to this, Omega Constellations have their casebacks embedded with the Observatory of Geneva embossed in gold. The eight stars symbolize the exploits of Omega in the world chronometer competitions.

Nowadays, vintage Omega Constellation watches represent one of the best value-for-money luxuries the vintage market has to offer. Sporting an elegant gold-filled case, it bears the trademark "pie pan" dial —adding further to the element of luxury. The day-date function will keep you on track while its chronometer certified movement will assure you that you'll get there in time. With gold indices and a "beads of rice" gold-filled bracelet to finish the look, you'll surely feel like an established person who's element is "pure class". Shoot for the stars of luxury and you'll land here the Omega Constellation.
